The eLook Mobile Cam application is an innovative tool that transforms your smartphone into a network camera, also known as an IPCAM. It allows for the streaming of live video footage, making it simple to connect and share visual content with friends and family over the Internet. The app currently utilizes UniSVR's HermesDDS Service, which is available for a free trial, to facilitate this connection.

An essential update to note is that the software has recently advanced to version 4.0, requiring users to also update their eLook Viewer application to maintain compatibility. Unfortunately, certain language editions like Spanish, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese are currently not supported in this latest version.

For an optimal experience, users should have the associated eLook Viewer app installed on their Android devices, which requires Android 4.0 or higher, with a resolution of 480x800 or greater. There are additional software options for Windows users such as Hercules Viewer for video viewing and UniArgus Video Central for video recording, both requiring at least Windows XP sp2, 1G Memory DRAM, and sufficient disk space.

The suggested setup involves having two smartphones, with eLook Mobile Cam installed on the first and eLook Viewer on the second. After registering your HermesDDS accounts as per the app's tutorials, you can easily start live streaming from one phone and watch on the other, creating your own personal surveillance system. For advanced use, the game allows recording and storage of videos on a personal computer with the help of UniArgus Video Central.
